Our governor has gotten quite a bit of press of late. This time, the New York Times has taken up the topic (via the AP), and is predicting the Ohio budget will receive the governor’s go-ahead.

Eliminating the estate tax and rewarding high-performing schools are two of the items mentioned as innovative additions by the legislature, and though revenues are down, the governor and the Ohio Legislature wrote the budget without any additional taxes.
