Solyndra Mess Taints Energy, President
Posted by Twenty One on Nov 18, 2011 in Blog | 39 commentsSecretary of Energy Chu testified before a congressional committee yesterday to defend his department’s action in the handling of the Solyndra loan guarantee. The failure of the company, and it’s ability to restructure its $535 million government loan to repay private investors before the American taxpayers that funded it, is a taint on the administration, and amounts to robbery on a grand scale.
Let’s hold the president and his appointees accountable for this kind of waste. At a time when resources are limited, everyone needs to be smart with their money, including the Federal Government.
We simply can’t afford this kind of waste.
