Like everyone around Capitol Square, we’re watching tomorrow’s election closely. Though the leadership at the Ohio Statehouse faces a bit of a referendum, we’re confident in the foundation our leaders are building for Ohio’s tomorrow.

The passage of JobsOhio has cleared the way for an innovative business attraction climate in our state. The initiative has already created thousands of jobs, securing commitments and taking an equity stake in the profits – something not possible one year ago.

That the governor passed a balanced budget, with a projected $8 billion shortfall, without raising taxes is another thing that didn’t happen two years ago.

Last November the people of Ohio hired a chief executive who wasn’t going to back down from a challenge. Let’s hope this November they don’t forget it.
